Skyward Family Access Guide

Welcome to Family Access, our student administrative software provided by Skyward. Through Family Access, you can securely view the following details about your student via the internet:

• Daily Progress
• Attendance
• Schedule
• Quarterly/Semester Grades
• Demographic Information
• Contact Information Updates

Logging In to Family Access

1. Access: To connect to Family Access, click on the image above. This will take you to the Skyward Family Access Login screen.
2. Credentials: Enter your family login ID and password, then click the “enter” button.
3. Troubleshooting: If you lose your ID and/or Password, please contact the main office of the school your child attends.

Navigating Family Access

• Overview: Upon login, you’ll reach the main Skyward Family Access screen. Your child’s name will appear near the top center. If you have multiple children, click the arrow next to the name to see a dropdown of their names. The default display shows a history of information accessed during the last login.

Using Family Access Features

• Attendance
  • Click the “Attendance” button on the left side. The current month’s calendar will display, with symbols indicating days your student was absent. Symbol definitions are provided at the bottom of the screen.
• Schedule
  • Click the “Schedule” button on the left. Your student’s current schedule appears under the “Current” tab. Future course requests for the next year can be viewed under the “Next Year” tab.
• Demographic Information
  • Click on the “Student Information” button and select the “Demographic” tab for basic student info, or the “Family” tab to view family details. Use the “Request Changes for Student” button to update demographic or family information.
• Daily Progress
  • Click the “Gradebook” button to view your student’s classes and current grades. Click on the underlined grade for details on assignments contributing to that grade.
• Account Settings
  • Click “My Account” at the top right of the page to change your phone number, address, and password.

Exiting Family Access

• Logout: Click the “Exit” button in the top right corner when you are finished using the system.
