Brent Parrott \u2013 Chairman<\/h2>

With a successful career in technology startups and senior management in the cellular industry, Brent brings extensive experience in business including knowledge of international markets. He also has over 15 years\u2019 experience in the classroom, having left the business world for a second career in education. He is currently PTAA Texas Board Chairman.<\/p>

Brian Hogan \u2013 Vice Chair<\/h2>

Brian Hogan is the owner and CEO of Furniture One, currently with five locations in the Dallas area. Brian and his company participate in community projects such as furnishing over 300 apartments in assistance to Hurricane Katrina victims. He also partners with Lifenet, a homeless alliance and family gateway for those in need, furnishing homes for people with disabilities, for battered women, and those with health issues.<\/p>

Victoria White \u2013 Secretary\/Treasurer<\/h2>

Victoria White is a Practice Group Specialist with Ice Miller\u2019s Municipal Finance Practice. She assists the practice with day-to-day operations and manages strategic relationships. Prior to joining Ice Miller, Mrs. White served as chief operating officer of the School Improvement Partnership where she worked directly with charter school management to meet continuing disclosure obligations after issuing municipal bonds according to Rule 15c2-12 and agreed-upon disclosure agreements. She employed strategic relationships with bond trustees, underwriters and institutional investors as well as other industry professionals assisting the firm in obtaining new clients. Mrs. White also managed organization financials, updated and tracked the pipeline of clients and provided insight and guidance on firm growth.<\/p>

Mrs. White formerly served as Vice President and junior banker at BB&T Capital Markets\/BB&T Securities. She was the direct senior credit analyst for all charter school investment bankers and sourced and executed charter school transactions. She led the execution of transactions from engagement through closing. Mrs. White maintained close interaction with all members of the working group: bond counsel, bank counsel, underwriter\u2019s counsel, the bank, the trustee or paying agent, the dissemination agent, the borrower, the conduit issuer and their counsel. She also managed regular client interaction in order to facilitate and maintain positive account management.<\/p>

Mansoureh Tehrani\u2013 Board Member<\/h2>

Engaging, persuasive and tenacious Educational Leader, holding two Master\u2019s Degrees who offers superior track record of achieving award-winning school conversion into a highly engaging and rigorous learning environment that nurtures student interest and fosters greater academic achievements resulting
in college, career and life readiness. Successfully communicates innovative and compelling educational initiatives, generating greater community interest and participation in a positive school culture that prepares tomorrow\u2019s leaders.<\/p>

In addition to our governing Board of Directors, PTAA is privileged to have the guidance of an experienced, international team of advisors.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Advisory Board<\/h1>

Dr. William Maley, PhD<\/h2>

Dr. Maley is a Director of Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy for Australian National University (ANU Australia). He is an Advisory Board member of the Liechtenstein Institute at Princeton University. He is also a Barrister of the High Court of Australia, Vice-President of the Refugee Council of Australia, and a member of the Australian Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Global Responsibility to Protect. He has over 100 books and publication to his name, is multilingual and has successfully run a Foreign exchange student program for 20 years from over 15 countries. PTAA board will use his expertise to run Language and Foreign exchange programs.<\/p>

Nancy Albright<\/h2>

Ms. Albright has 25 year in Education as Principal and teacher of a successful private school. She will assist the main board in curriculum selection and classroom methodologies.<\/p>

Dr. Brent Sasley, PhD<\/h2>

Dr. Sasley is an Associate Professor of Political Science at UT Arlington. He will assist the main board in college credit programs for PTAA high school students. PTAA currently has an MOU signed with UT Arlington that allows PTAA students, upon charter approval, to take college courses for credit.<\/p>

Dr. Anthony Rivera, MD<\/h2>

Dr. Rivera is an ER doctor at Medical Center McKinney. He will assist the main board with STEM curriculum choices.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. Hossein Zamanian, EdD<\/h2>

Dr. Zamanian is a CPA who will assist the main board with financial questions. Mr. Zamanian also has his Doctorate in Education.<\/p>

Mr. Joseph Hoffer, JD<\/h2>

Mr. Hoffer and his law firm are General Counsel to PTAA. His firm provides legal services to the majority of Texas\u2019 best and highest performing charter schools.<\/p>
